OUR OFFICE HAS THE FOLLOWING OPPORTUNITIES AVAILABLE IN YORK:

 

CERTIFIED NURSE PRACTITIONER

The Women’s Healthcare Group, a division of Susquehanna Valley Women’s Health Care, has an opportunity for a CRNP within a well-established, fast-paced, private OB/GYN practice. We currently have 6 physicians, 3 CNMs and 3 CRNPs. Our Practice contains an in-house lab and ultrasound services as well.

This position offers a combination of gynecological care and obstetrics with a focus on patient centered care, including annual well woman exams, birth control, family planning, prenatal and postnatal care, care during peri and post menopause, management of sexually transmitted infections and education about all aspects of women's health.

Candidates should have knowledge of physical assessment, ambulatory procedures, patient care, excellent communication and the ability to work independently.

Experience with women's health, some obstetrics and ability to perform procedures is preferable. New graduate candidates with strong backgrounds will be also considered.

This is a full-time (32-40 hours per week) position. Work schedule will be Monday-Friday.

CERTIFIED NURSE MIDWIFE

The Women’s Healthcare Group, a division of Susquehanna Valley Women’s Health Care, has an opportunity for a CNM within a well-established, fast-paced, private OB/GYN practice.

We currently have 6 physicians, 6 CNMs and 4 CNPs; and perform over 1,000 deliveries per year at York Hospital located within two miles, with the majority of vaginal deliveries attended by CNMs.  Our Practice contains an in-house lab and ultrasound services as well.  

The position offers a combination of gynecology care and obstetrics with focus on patient care, including annual well women exams, birth control, family planning, prenatal and postnatal care, and education in all aspects of women’s health.

Candidates should have excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.  Exp. with women’s health and OB/GYN skills is preferable.  New graduate candidates with strong backgrounds will also be considered.  The ability to communicate with our Spanish speaking patients is preferred. Work schedule includes hospital call and office hours weekly.

PHONE SCHEDULER (FT)

Responsibilities include:

  • Answering phone calls and scheduling appointments
  • Handling customer service inquiries
  • Updating patient account information
  • Will cross-train to fill in as a Medical Office Specialist at check in/check out as needed

Qualifications include:

  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a medical office or hospital setting
  • Proficient written communication & telephone skills
  • Scheduling experience preferred
  • Computer competency
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • OB/GYN experience preferred, not required
  • Bilingual a plus

Work schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

LPN (FT)

Qualifications include, but not limited to:

  • Minimum of six (6) months experience in a medical or professional office setting
  • Proficient PC skills
  • Current licensure
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Schedule includes four (4) 10-hour day shifts, with flexibility a must. OB/GYN experience preferred, not required

MEDICAL ASSISTANT (FT)

Qualifications include, but not limited to:

  • Minimum of six (6) months experience in a medical or professional office setting
  • Current certification
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient multi-tasking skills

Schedule includes four (4) 10-hour day shifts, with flexibility a must. OB/GYN experience preferred, not required

OPPORTUNITIES AT OUR MAY GRANT ASSOCIATES LOCATION IN LANCASTER:

 

Dispensary Technician (FT)

Qualifications include, but not limited to: 

  • Minimum of six (6) months experience in a medical or hospital setting.
  • Current LPN license OR Pharmacy Technician Certification.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
  • Proficient PC skills.
  • Demonstrated communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Bilingual is a plus.


Responsibilities include, but not limited to: 

  • Requires a considerable amount of time on the phone and correspondence with insurance companies to gain authorizations for medications.
  • Responsible for assisting patients with prescription refill requests.
  • Fielding electronic requests from pharmacies.
  • Purchasing inventory of medication for procedures and practice.
  • Receiving shipments of medications and dispersing to the lab and satellite offices.
  • Assist with inventory of IUDs and other devices.
  • Meet with drug representatives and keep providers up-to-date with new medications and new pharmacies.
  • Serve as the back up to our Central Supply Specialist.


Work Schedule will be five (5) 8-hour days, Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm/p>

DESK SPECIALIST (FT)

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Checking patients in and out
  • Insurance verifications
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Answering phones

Work schedule is (4) 10-hour days require mornings, afternoons, evenings and rotating Saturday mornings.  Flexibility in work schedule and ability to rotate through satellite offices is a must.

MEDICAL ASSISTANTS (FT)

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Obtaining vitals
  • Assisting Providers

Qualifications & skills include but not limited to:

  • Minimum of six (6) months of clinical experience in a medical or professional office setting
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient multi-tasking skills
  • Current certification preferred

Work schedule available is (4) 10-hour days require mornings, afternoons, evenings and rotating Saturday mornings. Flexibility in work schedule and ability to rotate through satellite offices is a must.
