When scheduling an appointment via phone or our online appointment request form, please describe your needs to our staff so that an appropriate length of time can be reserved for you. We attempt to schedule appointments to accommodate our patients’ needs. We also make every effort to see patients at scheduled appointment times, as we realize that your time is valuable. However, sometimes we do fall behind schedule or are called out of office to attend deliveries or to handle emergency cases. Our staff will attempt to notify you by telephone so that you can choose to either keep your appointment time or reschedule it.
Our telephone is currently answered by an automated attendant system between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Please select the option that is most appropriate for you when calling. Our secretaries will take your call as quickly as possible.
When calling to speak with a provider, please understand that all providers are not in the office everyday and that the providers who are in the office are seeing other patients. The providers in the office will return calls in between patient appointments or at the end of the day. Urgent calls are answered more promptly.
After Hour Emergencies
We have a physician on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Telephone calls received during non-office hours will be answered by our answering service. The answering service will page the physician on call, who will return your call as quickly as possible. Due to the volume of calls to the answering service, please stay on the line until your call is answered. The answering service will also call you back to assure that the physician on call has contacted you.
We request that you contact us prior to going to the Emergency Room or to the Labor and Delivery Unit so that we may notify the hospital and prepare for your arrival. Of course, if you have an extreme emergency, you should go directly to the Emergency Room.
