#EmployeeoftheMonth November, 2018

Meet Heather Lehr! Heather is a Surgical scheduler at the WHCG, and she loves it! She has been at the Women’s Healthcare Group for almost five years. She enjoys her coworkers and learning new things.

Heather enjoys hanging out with her fur baby Bella, who is a 11 1/2 year old dachshund. She loves going to the beach and visiting my family’s cabin in Potter County.

She is a positive person who likes to look at the good in everything, which is just one of the reasons she is amazing! Congratulations to Heather!

Booth Event Winner

Congratulations to Rebecca McCaa.  She stopped by the booth at the Leg Up Farm Event and won a $100 gift card to Home Goods! Loredana Craig had the privilege of awarding her prize, and Rebecca commented on all the great information she learned by visiting the booth and chatting with the staff and providers there. Make sure to visit us at our next event! You could learn something and be a winner!

Congratulations to Kelly Miller, our October Employee of the Month! Kelly has been with WHCG since March of this year. Before that, she worked in medical offices both in PA and NC. Kelly and her husband have been married two years and are completely in love with their Welsh Corgi (who was born on their wedding day).

The woods and the ocean are where Kelly feels most at home. There’s never a bad time for Christmas music; she listens to it all year long! Kelly also enjoys hiking, motocross, gardening, and ballet.

We’re so glad Kelly is part of the team!

#YAYTEAM

#YAYTEAM For the staff lunch this month, we had everyone dress in their team colors or shirts. Along with supporting our favorite teams, we pitched in together for a delicious lunch of 4 different kinds of chili and hot dogs on a roller!

Meet Tara W! Patient Testimonial

I had an amazing experience during my pregnancy and I highly recommend Women’s Health Group. They were always very responsive to any health related or scheduling questions I had.  One person in particular made my time there very special. Loredana was a true blessing in my life. She helped me emotionally overcome several obstacles during my pregnancy. During my last month of my pregnancy, my mother passed away. This was a very hard time for me. But with Loredana’s support I made it through one of the most difficult times of my life. She makes a great asset to their team. She is very professional and nurturing. Dr. Wolverton was also amazing. He is great at what he does and is very personable. All the nurses were very professional, friendly and personable. This made all my visits easy and enjoyable. I am so glad I chose The Women’s Health Group. They made this special time in my life a great experience.

Dr. Hassinger in Belize

For the third time, WHCG’s own Dr. Kathryn Hassinger dedicated time and energy and resources to serving a medical mission to the underserved population of Patchikan, Belize. She was accompanied by her sister, Karen Bachman, a registered dietitian. They brought with them an ultrasound machine, which was donated to the clinic there, and they spent time seeing gynecology patients, obstetric patients and running diabetes education classes. Dr. Hassinger was assisted by Mariana, a local nurse. This demonstrates Dr. Hassinger’s commitment to serving all women and helping them achieve their optimal health, a philosphy she brings with her wherever she goes, including right here in York County.
