FINANCIAL SERVICES SPECIALIST (FT)

Join the Susquehanna Valley Women’s Health Care Financial Center team!  We have an immediate opening for a FT Financial Services Specialist.  Responsibilities include:

  • Bi-weekly processing of payroll, including 401(k) remittance, HSA reporting, HR reports, etc. (experience with ADP, a plus)
  • Compiling various daily, monthly and quarterly reports
  • Assisting with all year-end projects and audits
  • Compiling and posting general ledger entries
  • Assisting with other accounting duties, including corporate cost allocation, bank reconciliations, monthly closing process, reconciling corporate credit card purchases, ad hoc and staff cost analysis, etc.
  • Assistance with compiling the annual operating budget
  • Working directly with the CEO and CFO, including preparing reports and data analysis, maintain appointment calendar, coordinating meetings, screening calls, preparing Excel and Power Point presentations, etc.

Selected candidate must process the following skills and qualifications:

  • Associates degree in Accounting and/or 2+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience processing payroll
  • Proficient PC skills, including Excel and Power Point
  • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Demonstrated knowledge of basic accounting/bookkeeping principles
  • Ability to work together as a team as well as individually and maintain absolute confidentiality
  • Proficient organization skills
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills

Work schedule is Monday thru Friday.  This position is located at our centralized Financial Service Center in Columbia.  We offer an excellent benefits package and a professional work environment.
