About The Women’s Healthcare Group
When The Women’s Healthcare Group (WHCG) opened in 1965, it was one of the first independent medical practices devoted exclusively to women’s health issues. Today, a talented team of physicians, midwives, nurse practitioners, obstetrical nurses, and a registered sonographer provide obstetric and gynecologic care for women in York County, Pennsylvania, and nearby communities.
The goal of WHCG is simple—to provide lifelong health care to women in the region. That care covers not only the most current medical treatment (including robotic and minimally invasive surgeries) and a wide choice of health care providers, but also health education on women’s issues from the teen years through retirement.
Why Choose The Women’s Healthcare Group?
- Clinical Depth—Our 6 physicians form the core of a single team with the specialized expertise to manage virtually every women’s health issue that a patient could encounter over her lifetime. Patients also benefit from the support of 6 Certified Nurse Midwives and 4 Certified Registered Nurse Practitioners, giving patients even more accessibility and choice as their women’s healthcare needs evolve over a lifetime.
- One-Stop Women’s Healthcare—WHCG offers the convenience of one-stop care, with clinical visits, prenatal and diagnostic ultrasound, osteoporosis screening, women’s health education, behavioral health support, and much more, all under one roof.
