NURSE PRACTITIONERS Nurse practitioners offer much of the same care provided by physicians and can serve as a patient's regular health care provider. The philosophy of an NP is individualized care, while making prevention, wellness, and patient education priorities. Our nurse practitioners offer personal gynecological care to our patients in a private setting, on the lower level of our building.
 Holly A. Shearer, MSN, CRNP
Holly has been a family nurse practitioner since 1998. She received her Master of Science in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner Certification from Widener University. She was previously employed as a family nurse practitioner in Adams County providing primary care for individuals of all ages.
 Janet L. Ashby, RN, MS, CRNP
Janet received her Master of Science and WHNP certification from the University of Maryland. She has over 19 years of experience working in labor and delivery, the neonatal intensive care unit, and as a nursing educator.
 Valarie J. Cravens, MSN, CRNP
Valarie has been a nurse practitioner since 1996. She provides routine and complex gynecological care for our patients, as well as performs minor surgical procedures in the office.
